Wittersham CEP School

Exert from School Newsletter 11th October 2013

After a frantic couple of months, we are delighted to be able to say that Stepping Stones Nursery is now open at Wittersham CEP School, having moved from its old home of eleven years in Small Hythe. We are currently busy welcoming all families from Tenterden, the Isle of Oxney and surrounding areas. The nursery is open everyday and offers child centred play, learning and care, with Forest School activities and Summer swimming planned. Judged Outstanding in all areas at the Nursery’s most recent Ofsted inspection.

I’d like to extend my most sincere and appreciative thanks to Miss Judith Thornton, Head Teacher at Wittersham School for her generous, positive support throughout the project and also to her dedicated staff team. My gratitude to the contractors who brought the project to fruition, especially the team at Lowrie Modular Buildings led by John who worked tirelessly, even missing a day of bank holiday fishing to help us meet our deadline! Special thanks to my wonderful family Trevor, Henry and Clemency Haines, Mr and Mrs Ray Davis and Steven Haines. To Lauren and Tom Knight, Sarah and Stuart Ladbury, Stevie Tate, Katherine Saunders. Lee Phelan and Viki Webb and all the dear children and families we care for. Thank You.

We look forward to continuing success and many more happy times together.

Lindsay Haines, Early Years Teacher and Nursery Leader.

Selsted School

Thank you – I am delighted with the work carried out at the school – both the quality and the working relationship with those who carried out the repairs and painting. The mobile looks so much better and I have no hesitation in getting back to you for further work. Thank you also for the pot of yellow paint – that really was appreciated.

Once again – total satisfaction for the job throughout.

Sholden C.E. Primary School

Sholden C.E. Primary School contacted Lowrie Brothers Ltd to carry out external and internal alterations and school improvements in 2013 and 2012.

From the upstart the communication with this family run business has been superb. They have consistently provided timely quotations of a very competitive nature, exacting details and demonstrating very helpful knowledge about structural issues, use of materials, architectural plans and solutions that are most suited to the requirements of our individual needs.

Their workmen are tidy and courteous on site.

In particular they have expertise on mobile classrooms, their durability and how to modernise in a cost effective way.

I would recommend Lowrie Brothers Ltd without any reservation as a reliable, skilled and very friendly company.

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service

I would like to record my thanks to you and your team for the professional and efficient way in which you relocated and constructed the building that will provide welfare facilities at our new COBRA Academy. This unit is going to enhance the provision of our tactical fire-fighter training and the diligence, attention to detail and efficiency with which your team worked is a credit to your organisation, and even led to a final invoice that was less than your original quotation.
